# Request a feature

**Form: Contact**

## What makes a request land

Tell us the **outcome you are after**, not just the feature you had in mind. "I need a Bcc field" is useful; "our warehouse needs a copy of every dispatch email so they can pick against it" is far more useful - it tells us the real problem, and sometimes there is already a way to solve it today.

Worth including:

1. **What you are trying to achieve**, in business terms.
2. **How you handle it today** - a workaround, another app, or a manual process.
3. **How often it comes up**, and how much it costs you when it does.
4. A **screenshot or mockup** if you can picture the result.

## How we prioritise

We group requests, so repeated asks from different merchants carry real weight. A request that unblocks a workflow people cannot otherwise build will usually beat a convenience improvement, and anything that affects a live send beats both.

We cannot promise dates. What we can promise is that every request is read by the person who would build it.

> [!NOTE]
> Already possible? Some of the most common requests are already supported - CC and BCC recipients, file attachments, loops over line items, conditional content, reusable header and footer presets, and calling any API on any Shopify plan. Have a look at [Build an email layout](https://docs.workflow-transactional-email.app/build-an-email-layout.md) and [Variables and Liquid](https://docs.workflow-transactional-email.app/variables-and-liquid.md) before you write it up.

## Something broken instead?

If the app is not working as designed, use [Report a bug](https://docs.workflow-transactional-email.app/help/report-a-bug.md) - bugs are handled ahead of feature work.

## Our other Shopify apps

If what you need is a different shape of automation, one of these may already do it:

- [Workflow Trigger Extensions](https://apps.shopify.com/flow-trigger-extensions) - triggers Shopify Flow cannot see on its own.
- [Workflow Webhooks](https://apps.shopify.com/flow-webhooks) - trigger Shopify Flow from external webhooks.
- [Workflow Functions](https://apps.shopify.com/workflow-functions) - run your own JavaScript as a step in Shopify Flow.
